As a nurse of 17 years, working in prisons and jails, my faith was my strength. Dealing with all types of inmates with depression, anxiety, stress, chronic illnesses, successful hangings, and other major issues requires God's guidance and help. I could not have done my job as a Corrections Nurse without my faith. I don't know how anyone can say they do not believe in God. I just don't. 

We are living in evil times. We live in a Fallen world. We are in a spiritual battle - not flesh and blood. The devil is on a rampage, and he is trying to take as many people with him as possible. Don't be fooled! Know scripture!

I am a follower of the late Charlie Kirk. I did not even know what his mission was until his assassination. I only knew he was well known and had a strong following, but I had no idea how big it was until his death.

When I watched some of his podcasts, I thought, Wow, that is what I want to do!  I realized it was time for me to speak up and not keep God's power, love, and forgiveness to myself.

I am going to address atheism. If you went to your doctor and you were given the bad news you had cancer, do you think you would be in disbelief that you being told you had cancer? Or would you deny it? Would you be angry? Yes. Would you be upset? Yes. Would you think that maybe, just maybe, your doctor got it wrong? Yes. So, you decide you are not going to address it. You are not going to get treatment, because, you do not believe you have cancer.  Your doctor got it wrong.

That is, until symptoms start. Now, you know he was right and you are now in for the fight of your life.

How does that relate to how atheists think? They simply cannot, will not believe there is a God. They don't have any symptoms that there is a God. I cannot "see" the glory and beauty all around them that there is a God. They just cannot accept it.

When they leave this earth, they learn immediately how wrong they were. The travesty is, it is too late. They made their decision to believe they were right. Now, they are standing before the very God they did not believe in. They see for themselves the truth: They were wrong. Dead wrong. but wrong, and it is too late.

Need more evidence? A car in front of you is driving down the highway at 90 miles per hour. They have activated their cruise control for ease of driving.  You are behind them. You, too, are going 90 miles an hour because they are.

How do you know they have their foot on the gas pedal? You cannot see their foot on the pedal,but they are driving 90 miles an hour, so they must have their foot on the gas pedal - but they don't. They activated their cruise control, but they had to use their foot to get to that speed. You cannot see what they are doing, but you know they are speeding at 90 miles an hour.  Then - suddenly - they slow down fast; there is a police car notice up ahead. But, how do you know they are slowing down? Their brake lights come on, but you cannot see their foot on the brake pedal, so you assume they have their foot on the brake because the brake lights come on. There is the evidence they are hitting the brake.

Why is it  so hard for atheists to not believe there is a God with all the evidence all around them? The beauty, the sky, the stars, the beautiful moon, beautiful flowers, beautiful trees, you name it, there is lots of evidence that an almighty divine power created the universe. How are babies made? It does not just happen. They are created. Why is it so hard for atheists to refuse to believe there is a living God? Because they cannot see him. They cannot see the foot on the brake pedal, either, but it is obvious the driver is using their foot to press the pedal, gas or brake. They have evidence of that, and they have evidence all around them that there is a living God.

What about all the evil and bad things that happen you ask? God gives us choice. He does not tell us what to do. We have to the right to make our own decisions, good or bad. Why does God let bad things happen? Why does He allow babies and children to have cancer. Only He knows that. I am no all-wise. I am not all-knowing, I am not omnipotent. He is all of that. He has those answers. We will someday.

One reason I believe God allows bad things to happen so to wake us up. He wants to keep us out of hell. He has to let drastic things happen sometimes to get us on our knees. If having a disaster or having a major illness happen to get us to come to Him for forgiveness, if it keeps us out of hell and damnation, it is worth it. He does not cause bad things to happen. He may let it happen, but he does not cause bad things to happen. The devil does. The devil likes to bring havoc. The devil wants us to stay away from God. If the devil believes in God, don't you think atheists should too?

Think about it. God loves you so much, He died for you. Isn't that amazing!  He died for YOU!  If you are an atheist, your day is coming where you will not only believe there is a God, you will wish you could go back and tell other atheists.
